POSTION:
ASC Junior Coach
GOAL:
Develop an ongoing program utilizing juniors and seniors from local high schools willing to help as
assistant coaches. Many coaches are volunteers but need good assistants to help them out when they’re late, out with
work, vacations, etc. Juniors and seniors who play the sport bring great ideas with drills, etc., and can be
a good mentor and conduit between the kids and the parent coach.
TARGET:
The ideal applicants are high school juniors and seniors from local high schools surrounding the Annapolis area. (Annapolis High School, St. Mary's High School, Severn High School, Broadneck High school, Key School, ETC.)
AGE GROUP:
Most Junior Coaches will be working with U12 Teams or older. However if there is interest shown to work with the younger ages, arrangements will be made to accommodate.

TIME COMMITMENT:
ASC would love for the junior coaches to be available for every practice and game during the current seasons. However, We understand that being high school students you have a lot on your plate between sports, school work and life. ASC asks that the junior coaches communicate with their corresponding coach to work out a plan to accommodate your busy schedules so you can make all the practices and games. We ask that you commit to approximately 2-4 hours a week, and 20-40 hours a season
